Men's Shops

When it comes to places for men to shop in the cities, there really aren't too many. Yes, we have the mall; but there aren't very many shops with distinction. You can shop when you are traveling, but make sure you ship it home to avoid other states clothing taxes. The key to shopping in the twin cities is to find the hidden treasures. Here are a few recommendations on where to go:

ALDO (Ridgedale Mall)
Our favorite store is in New York, but they have just opened their first store in Minnesota. They offer unique shoes at a middle of the road price point.

Benetton (Mall of America)
Known for their controversial ads, it sometimes gets overlooked. Although they have a small men's selection, you can still find classic pieces to accessorize your wardrobe.

EXILE on Harmon (1612 Harmon pl)
This unique contemporary men's boutique is the only one of its kind. A true men's' boutique, Exile offers fashion forward pieces and shoes that you'd expect to find in New York (SOHO).

INTOTO (3105 Hennepin Ave.)
This store offers classic sportswear pieces with an edge, but bring your wallet, because with designers such as Ann Demeulemeester, Etro, Malo, etc. it gets a little spendy. Mr. B. and Sarah will definitely take care of you.

Irina's Stitch in Time (3021 Lyndale Ave S)
For those custom fitted shirts and trousers that nicely cling to the body or any of your other tailoring needs.

Ivy Men's + Design (1220 Glenwood Avenue)
Custom designed menswear, personalized service and a full selection of fashion and lifestyle

Marshall Fields-L'homme & Shoes (2nd flr. 700 on the mall)
For that unique designer piece ask for Keith Dorsett. He has been helping men look good for over fifteen years - now that's experience!

Sisley (Mall of America)
Sisley is to Benneton as Lexus is to Toyota. A more refined, updated and fashion forward side of the classic Benneton. Please tell Khaled that ini@theskini.com sent you.

Tatters Clothing (2928 Lyndale Ave S)
This is where to go to find that one of a kind vintage piece. It takes a little work but it is worth the effort.
