Fall-2005
This Fall, fashion designers are LAYERING, so showcase your style by combining your favorite pieces.
Layering is extremely practical and adds a bit of spice to the more subdued fashion atmosphere in Fall. On crisp mornings slip on an extra layer, remove it in the afternoon when it heats up, then re-layer when the temperature drops after sunset.
Have fun with TEXTURE! Mix leather, tweed and even fur. Color and pattern are making a comeback so make a statement and EXPERIMENT with both!
Don’t leave home without…

The Black Jacket
A casual black jacket is essential. It is the ideal layering item and can be worn to work and play. Good tailoring is essential so get properly measured and fitted.
TREND ALERT!

Velvet: Velvet is the fabric for Fall. Shades of mulberry and purple are the season favorites. Tailored, velvet blazers look great worn with casual trousers or dark-denim jeans.

Granddad Chic: Updated cardigans with modern tailoring. Cardigans look great layered over a printed tee or vest. Think funk not frump!

Plaid: When is plaid NOT in style? You cannot go wrong with this classic look. Pair a plaid jacket and scarf with your favorite jeans, some boots and you are ready!
Biker Jackets: Thanks to some modern tailoring the biker jacket has resurfaced with a look that is a little less hard-edged.
Shoes: A cowboy influence is still inspiring fashion designers. This Fall, either invest in a pair of traditional western boots or pointy toe loafers.
