Fall-2005
It’s that time again! Put away your sandals and get out your boots (with wedge heels), its time to get dressed for Fall.
Masculine/Feminine Tailoring
Think ruffled tuxedo shirts paired with baggy trouser-pants (pinstripe), topped with structured, cropped mini-jackets (velvet is the fabric for Fall). Designers are playing with the masculine-feminine look and the key is TAILORING. Baggy trousers should be flattering not fattening!

Gypsy Girl
70’s prints will still be floating around from summer’s ‘Boho-Luxe’ look. To alter this floaty, chic style for Fall, simply layer. Pair loose tunic tops with structured jeans. Accessorize with a wide belt, wedge boots and chunky necklaces and bangles, the more the better! Bold prints will keep you looking hot when the temperature starts to drop.

Jackets and Knit Layers
Velvet jackets and knit layers are perfect for Fall. Small sweaters and shrunken jackets worn with a belt keep the layered look from being too bulky.
The little sweater: Dance sweaters (long-sleeve, tie front tops) and shrugs are a cute addition over basic knits.

The cropped jacket: A great new boxy shape that makes your waist look tiny and pairs with pants.
The blazer: Fitted blazers ending above the hip.
Shoes
The wedge heel isn’t going anywhere. Instead it is being translated into knee-high boots. Platform ankle boots are also making a comeback, as is the square toe.
