by LisaL

May 13- Sept 11, 2005

This show features the work of artists from the Venice Beach art scene. Active in the 60's and 70's, this group explored the connections between synthetic and organic, often forming synthetic materials into abstract shapes. Architect, Frank Gehry (he designed the Weisman) was a member of the Venice Beach art scene and has chosen his favorite pieces for this exhibit.
