Nochee
Our fair city of Minneapolis is getting more stylish by the day. Enter Nochee. This trendy new spot is part restaurant, part nightclub, part sports bar. It features contemporary American cuisine and a variety of live entertainment on a nightly basis.
Start the night early with dinner in their sleek dining room and stay for
a movie on the “Trojan Mega Screen” in the Trojan room. If you
care, let the night last and stick around for the D.J. starting at ten.
International Night on Wednesdays will definitely keep the blood flowing and
on these cold winter nights you know you could use a little dancin’ to
stay warm. Thursday through Saturday there is live music featuring jazz, salsa
and flamenco.
That’s just the nightlife. What about happy hour you say? Live piano
happy hour from
3-7p.m. daily offering specialty priced drinks. Free internet service in the
lounge for those of you who may still have work to do and plush couches for
those of you who simply want to unwind.
For the sports fan, there is plenty of flat screen TVs to watch the game. Dig into a plate of Szechwan style baby back ribs with house made kimchee and wash it down with one of their many specialty drinks.
In the spring and summer months, take advantage of the expansive patio. Featuring a full menu and plenty of seating this is a downtown patio worth checking out. The large fire pit in the center along with plenty of heater lamps allow the patio to stay open well into early fall.
Located in the Warehouse district at the corner of Washington and Fifth, Nochee is a welcome addition to the ever growing Twin Cities landscape. Just look for the famed sculpture of “The Dancers,” by artist Fernando Botero.
