Theatre Unbound is one of the Twin Cities leading women’s theater companies. Founded in 1999, this group features work written by female playwrights and explores characters that fall outside of the typical.

The new play “Boy Gets Girl” was written by Rebecca Gilman for Chicago’s Circle Theatre. Originally intending to tell the story of serial killer Richard Speck, Gilman became more interested in telling the story of the women he murdered. The play explores the story of a woman trying to save herself from a stalker.

This is the Twin Cities debut of “Boy Gets Girl”. The play will run Fridays and Saturdays through November 13, at the Playwrights’ Center.
