Mixed Blood Theater is an organization dedicated to presenting multicultural and socially aware theater. The upcoming work by Michael Mack explores the implications and reality of living with mental illness.

In this one-man show, Mack explores his experiences growing up with a schizophrenic mother. His sympathetic spoken-word piece offers a portrait of his mother that defies stereotypes and conveys the complexity of the turmoil of mental illness and a mother's love for her child.
