Wing Young Huie

Artist Wing Young Huie has spent the last decade documenting social and cultural realities throughout Minnesota. He is best known for a series of photographs taken and displayed along Lake Street in Minneapolis a couple of years ago.

Huie's current body of work takes the viewer outside Minnesota on a nine-month journey across the US. This exhibition of photographs and video explores the relationship between Chinese/Asian culture and mainstream America.

This exhibit is the first solo museum show for Huie and is the premiere exhibition for this body of work.
