The Weisman Art Museum, located on the east bank of the University of Minnesota campus, is currently featuring an exhibit that explores the role of genetics research in people's daily lives. Gene(sis)-Contemporary Art Explores Human Genomics is an exhibit dedicated to creating dialogue about the ethical and cultural possibilities of genomics.

Works on view include Eduardo Kac's installation Gene(sis) and Macarthur Genius Grant recipient, Ingio Manglano-Ovalle's photo series entitled 'The Garden of Delights". The show is organized in four parts based on the following themes; Sequence, Specimen, Boundary and Subject. Each theme explores a specific aspect of genomics.
