Each year the Southern Theater and the Walker Art Center collaborate on a series of performance events called "Out There". These performances showcase some of the most interesting and innovative artists working today. Artists come from all over the world to participate in this series.

This year, "Out There" will open with the world premiere of "Plan B", a new work, commissioned for the series, from Big Dance Theater. In this work, power and betrayal are explored in a combination of Taiwanese torch songs and excerpts from the secret Nixon tapes.
